LDAP Bind Fails In OID 12.2.1.4 After Certificate Renewal And Restart Of AdminServer (Doc ID 3023586.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Internet Directory (OID) has been configured to use a TLS/SSL SERVERAUTH 'Mode 2' certificate configuration.

After renewing an OID component's expiring certificates and restarting AdminServer, further connection attempts to the SSL port fail with an "SSL handshake failed" error

 

Changes

Renewed an OID component's expiring certificates stored in the wallet at "$DOMAIN_HOME/config/fmwconfig/components/OID/oid1/admin/wallet" then restarted the AdminServer.
