Symptoms

Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) is not reverse engineering records marked as deleted in Salesforce even after having followed the instructions in the following article:
  Document 2270540.1 Querying Salesforce Deleted Records Using ODI 12c

Configuration used for Salesforce.com connection:

For the same tables, deleted records can be fetched through Python.
