WebLogic Fails to Start after Adding a jar File to the "Class Path" Field Under "Server Start" Subtab from WebLogic Console (Doc ID 3024912.1)

Symptoms

Following Doc ID 1602379.1 to get the client IP in WebLogic access log, GWXFF.jar is added to the "Class Path" field on the server startup page from WebLogic console. After the change, the WebLogic server fails to start with the following error:
