Symptoms

When using SQL Developer Extension for VS Code version 24.1, and issuing queries against a schema with a VPD (Virtual Provide Database) policy applied, simple queries against tables within that schema fail with the following error:

Querying this table from SQL*Plus or SQL Developer correctly returns no rows.
