With Oracle and MySQL Mixed Repositories, ODI Session Logs not Displayed Under Operator After Jul 2023, Oct 2023, or Jan 2024 WebLogic Patch Sets (Doc ID 3033336.1)

Symptoms

In an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) environment where the Master Repository is hosted on an Oracle database and a Work Repository is hosted on MySQL database, and when any of the three following WebLogic Server (WLS) patch sets are applied to the ODI environment, the Session logs under the Operator navigator are not displayed:

- Patch 35557681 WLS PATCH SET UPDATE 12.2.1.4.230702 (JULY 2023)
- Patch 35893811 WLS PATCH SET UPDATE 12.2.1.4.231010 (OCT 2023)
- Patch 36155700 WLS PATCH SET UPDATE 12.2.1.4.240104 (JAN 2024)

The following error is thrown when refreshing the Operator navigator:

 



If the WebLogic Server patch sets are rolled back, the Session logs are then displayed as expected.

 

Changes

WebLogic patch sets for July 2023, October 2023, or January 2024 have been applied to the ODI Stack.
