Error REP-0501 ORA-12162 While Using RADIUS Authentication on Report Server (Doc ID 3041703.1)

Symptoms

You have Database configured for RADIUS Authentication and is working fine from SQL*Plus.
While using Report server with RADIUS, you get error but works fine with rwrun, sqlplus and Forms application.

Following error occurs while running the report using reports server

 

ERROR

REP-0501: The specified database cannot be connected.
ORA-12162: TNS:net service name is incorrectly specified
