OIDDAS Page Fails to Display With "Error encountered while connecting to directory server" (Doc ID 304237.1)

- Clicking any tab on the OIDDAS page fails with:

Error encountered while connecting to directory server

- oiddas.conf shows:

   <IfModule mod_osso.c>
   # for oiddas protected region
        require valid-user
        AuthType Basic
    OssoConfigFile /m001/app/oracle/metadata/9.0.4/Apache/Apache/conf/osso/osso.conf

-  $ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/conf/httpd.conf shows:

# include "<ORACLE_HOME path>/Apache/Apache/conf/mod_osso.conf"

- das.log shows:

Context is invalid

- orcldasurlbase is shown in ODM at Entry Management > cn=OracleContext > cn=Products > cn=DAS > cn=OperationURLs to correctly point to the OIDDAS URL:


- Using Mozilla Firefox


OID has been moved to a new host using an LDAP replica, per Oracle Application Server 10g Administrator's Guide,Release 9.0.4 > Appendix F > F.2 Installing and Setting Up an LDAP-based Replica > F.2.2 Procedure > Task 6: Enable SSO, DAS, and DIP on the Replica > 12. Validation Step: Verify that DAS was configured successfully, on p.F-20
