Symptoms

After applying the July 2024 PSU patch to the database, which upgrades the database version from 19.23 to 19.24, connections fail from an InfoSphere application using the IBM JDBC driver for Oracle.

On the application side, the exception is the following:

The July 2024 PSU patch was applied to the database, moving the RDBMS version from 19.23 to 19.24.
