Oracle Identity Governance (OIG): UI Session Raises HTTP 500 Error after Timeout and Reauthentication via SAML Authenticator (Doc ID 3047108.1)

Symptoms

SAML2.0 Authenticator defined for a non-OAM SSO environment.  When a user's UI OIG session times out (after 10 minutes), and they attempt to re-authenticate, the browser displays an HTTP 500 server error page.  When collecting a browser header trace (har), it is apparent that the error is raised when hitting the /saml2/sp/acs/post endpoint.

 

Changes

Applied OIG 12.2.1.4.231215 BP.  This patching is only anecdotally linked to the problem.
