Purpose
Intelligent Load Balancing is a new feature of Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) 14.1.2.0.0 Proxy Plug-Ins.
Intelligent Load Balancing is also known as Intelligent Routing (IR)
Intelligent load balancing enables WLS proxy plug-ins to more evenly distribute traffic across a pool of servers according to their actual capacity, for improved reliability.
The new "Weighted Least Connection count"(WLCC) routing algorithm route new requests according to intelligent load balancing which is based on the weighted least connection algorithm. This algorithm selects the next server based on its current load capacity as determined by a health score provided by WebLogic Server
Intelligent Load Balancing only supported against WLS servers versions 14.1.2 or higher
