Goal

We require clarification regarding the behavior of Oracle's currently supported JDBC drivers in the following scenario:

If a URI connection string is misconfigured or contains invalid special characters in the password, will the JDBC driver "mask" the password to prevent it from being logged in plain text when the error is captured in the application log?
