Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

This note provides general information about common configuration tasks inside the JDeveloper IDE.

Scope

Issues described in this note are in the scope of the runtime configuration for ADF applications. This involves the different aspects of configuration done at he server level regarding a custom developed ADF Application. What is covered here includes the server side tasks besides the execution or deployment of the application. So, it is assumed the application has been built and can be successfully compiled and packaged, and may even be deployed in the server. All runtime errors and questions are not covered here.

Oracle recommends using the latest version of the product, along with the latest Bundle Patch available. For details about ADF Bundle Patches, please check Note 2659387.1 "ADF Bundle Patches for 12.2.1.3.0 and 12.2.1.4.0"
