Symptoms
When attempting to install Oracle HTTP Server 14.1.2 on Oracle Linux 8, the prerequisite check for kernel version fails. Oracle Universal Installer example error is shown in the below image.
Reviewing the installation log yields the following errors.
Log file: /tmp/OraInstall<TIMESTAMP>/install<TIMESTAMP>.log
