ODI Studio "odi.conf" Configuration File Is Reset to Default After Patching (Doc ID 3067359.1)

Symptoms

After having applied a new Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Bundle Patch (BP), it is noticed that some of the previously resolved issues occur again.

These fixes involved an update to the $ORACLE_HOME/odi/studio/bin/odi.conf file. Any modified or added parameters to the configuration file are reset to default.

Changes

This issue occurs also when applying a Stack Patch Bundle (SPB) that includes a more recent ODI BP.
