Symptoms

After applying the WebCenter Portal October 2024 Bundle patch, the pages based on the Unicorn or Mosaic templates or any other custom template based on the same stop working correctly.
The browser development tools shows the following errors when viewing the pages:

ERROR 

Cannot load "https://<HOST>:<PORT>/webcenter/uilibs/jquery/1.11.1/jquery.min.js"

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'fn')
at util.js:55:5
at bootstrap.min.js:6:200
at bootstrap.min.js:6:246
(anonymous) @ util.js:55
(anonymous) @ bootstrap.min.js:6
(anonymous) @ bootstrap.min.js:6

 

Checking the spaces.war we can see the jquery directory is missing from uilibs in the spaces.war file.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Apply the October 2024 WebCenter Portal Bundle Patch.
     
  2. Here you should see the Javascript errors in the portal pages based on the Unicorn or Mosaic templates or any other custom template based on the same.
