Applies to:
Oracle Coherence - Version 12.2.1.4.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
- Daily, at either 14:00 or 16:00, a member of the Oracle Coherence cluster leaves the cluster, resulting in the departure of all services hosted by that member.
- The affected member and port vary from day to day.
- An IOException is typically logged after the member's departure.
- The issue occurs on a cluster composed of 7 physical servers (DELL R6615) running Windows 2022 Standard with multiple NICs configured as a NIC team.
- There are 133 members in the cluster, and the JDK version is 1.8.0.291.
- Scheduler service, agents (AV and Endpoint), client access, and external scanning are all disabled.
- Datagram, MessageBus, and Multicast testing are successful.
- Network switch statistics do not indicate excessive packet loss or errors.
- The problem is specific to this hardware configuration, as other clusters with identical software setups do not exhibit the issue.
- Network traces have not revealed any external factors causing the problem.
