Goal

Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) provides users with the option to apply patches, i.e.:

One-off patches and / or merge patches resolving individual bug fixes.
Bundle Patches (BP) released as part of quarterly Critical Patch Updates (CPU).
Stack Patch Bundle (SPB) that includes ODI BP as well as relevant CPU patches from the product stack, i.e. Fusion Middleware (FMW) and WebLogic (WLS).

Prior to applying a patch, make sure to take a backup of the ORACLE_HOME, DOMAIN_HOME, and the CENTRAL INVENTORY.
