Last updated on FEBRUARY 13, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Containers for J2EE - Version 9.0.4.0.0 to 10.1.3.5.0 [Release AS10g to AS10gR3]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When running OC4J, you might find that times logged in the $OH\j2ee\<oc4j_instance>\log\home_default_island_1\default-web-access.log
are not as per your timezone and/or do not reflect Daylight Saving Time (DST) when the time changes in summer/winter in your location.
This document explains the steps required to configure your timezone for this purpose in a way whereby DST will automatically reflect in the timestamps logged.
