Portlets Time Out Faster than the Registered Provider Timeout (Doc ID 315387.1)

Symptoms

A Database or Web Provider created with 300 second timeout.
Randomly, the Portlet contents display the timeout message before the 300 seconds specified.

To ensure the error message is not displayed from the Cache, please do the following:

1. Page URL is as follows:
    http://portal.server.com:7778/portal/page?_pageid=53,36395,53_44277&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL

2. Modify the URL as follows:
    http://portal.server.com:7778/portal/page?_pageid=53,36395,53_44277&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL&_debug=5

The application log file for a DB Provider, shows:portal: id=111320803091,1 Stall Timeout reached. Interrupting Fetcher name=content-fetcher57 label=dbPortlet url=http://portal.server.com:7778/pls/portal/!PORTAL.wwpro_app_provider.execute_portlet/28608706/73 time=66312ms timeout=66000ms process=Dispatching

Current value is => stall(MaxTimeout)=65s[default=65s]
