For some reason you would like to verify if the app_dn and app_pwd values stored in Portal's preference store are correct. The reason may be that you receive the following error when trying to upgrade Portal:
Another reason may be that you get some kind of OID related error when trying to access Portal, account info or self registration or when trying to login. For example if the user's password in the following LDAP node was inadvertently changed:
In this case the following browser error occurs whilst trying to login to Portal as any user:
