How To Display Two Applets On One Page (Doc ID 333702.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 16, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Forms - Version 6.0 to [Release 6 to Oracle10g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

This article will illustrate how to display two different applets on one web page.  One Forms applet and one custom applet.  This example assumes a static HTML file run in Internet Explorer, however it can be easily incorporated in to the Forms baseXXX.htm files.

1.  You cannot run 2 forms in the same browser if you are using Jinitiator.  One of the applets must be custom (Not Oracle Forms).  Both applets must be different - even if both are custom.

2.  Both applets MUST use the same JRE/Jinitiator and version.  This applies to both Jinitiator and the Sun JRE plug-in.
