OID - Synchronization Of Userpassword And Orclpassword Does Not Occur (Doc ID 336897.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.


User userpassword and orclpassword attributes are not synchronized when the userpassword is updated.

Both userpassword and orclpassword are set already and users can connect to OID or the database with the same password.
However when userpassword is updated e.g. with ldapmodify, users can still connect to the database with their old password.

Alternative symptoms: a new user is created in OID with specific password, but the Enterprise User Security database password is not set to the same value as userpassword.

orclcommonnicknameattribute under root cn=Common,cn=Products,cn=OracleContext is set to a valid attribute e.g. uid, cn, sn, and the user entry has a value set for that attribute.
