rmsub.csh Fails if Subscriber is Only Configured in SSO Not Portal (Doc ID 338396.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Application Server Single Sign-On - Version: 9.0.4
This problem can occur on any platform.

The rmsub.csh script assumes that the subscriber was also installed in a Portal schema. It removes a subscriber from OID, Portal schema and SSO schema.

If there is no Portal schema then the script will not run: -pc (portal connect string) parameter is mandatory.

If dummy connect details are supplied for the Portal schema/password/connect parameters, the script will stop with error' invalid Portal connect details'.

This causes problems if addsub.csh was run with -mode sso to only create the subscriber in the SSO schema, for example if Portal is not being used. The Oracle® Application Server Single Sign-On Administrator's Guide 10g Release 2 (10.1.2) instructs to run this script with -mode sso.
