Purpose

This document will outline the purpose of Required Support Files (RSF) in Oracle Forms and Reports.  It will also identify which RSF version is included with the base Forms/Reports versions.  This document will not, however discuss which files make up the RSF set or how they work.

Scope

This article is intended for application developers, DBAs, and System Administrators responsible for maintaining Oracle installations and developing within any Forms or Reports environment.
