Symptoms
Trying to set up Fast Connection Failover as described in this article on the Oracle Technology Network (OTN):
OC4J Data Sources: Implicit Connection Caching and Fast Connection Failover
However, when the property "fastConnectionFailoverEnabled" is set in the configuration file data-sources.xml, OC4J cannot create the DataSource object, and produces the following error:
java.lang.InstantiationException: Error introspecting @ datasource of type
oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource, error setting
property:java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
