WebUtil CLIENT_OLE2 Integration With MS Word Does Not Work When Using Jinitiator (Doc ID 341189.1)

The objective is to open up a MS Word document on the client machine which contains data from the forms application using WebUtil.CLIENT_OLE2

After configuring the forms application to use Oracle Jinitiator the WebUtil.CLIENT_OLE2 code no longer works.

When using Oracle Jinitiator a word document containing data transferred from the forms application is opened fine.

When using Oracle Jinitiator the word application is opened but it contains no document.

The Oracle Jinitiator java console contains the following errors:

WUO-714 [OleFunctions.setExceptionValues()] ..

WUO-708 [OleFunctions.get_obj_property()]
.. Exception A COM exception has been encountered:
At Invoke of: Documents
Description: An unknown COM error has occurred.
