HTTP-500 When Login link is Clicked with Previously Working WNA-Enabled SSO (Doc ID 352932.1)

Oracle9iAS Single Sign-On - Version: 9.0.4 to 10.1.2
This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

The 10gAS site has SSO configured with Wndows Native Authentication (WNA) and WNA login has been working without errors for some time. 

Now login to /oiddas and other SSO Partner Applications no longer works.

Error in browser: HTTP-500 Internal Server Error when Login link is clicked.

Errors in opmn/logs/OC4J~OC4J_SECURITY~default_island~1 logfile:
