(Doc ID 352945.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 13, 2025
Applies to:
Oracle Containers for J2EE - Version 9.0.2.0.0 and laterOracle Fusion Middleware - Version 9.0.2.0.0 to 10.1.3.5.1 [Release 9iAS to AS10gR3]
Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 9.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
The JVM running an OC4J component is working correctly since the moment of the last start up until around 20 minutes later, when it becomes non responsive to OPMN pings, which decides it needs to restart it as per its dead process detection algorithm.
This causes a JVM abrupt process termination , loosing session information and needing to reallocate all resources at the next restart.
Changes
There was a reconfiguration of the system to adapt some of the java-options for that specific OC4J instance.
