OC4J Application Fails To Start on AIX: Unrecognized Option: -server (Doc ID 356597.1)

Symptoms

After reconfiguring the OC4J application <start-parameters> <java-options> in "opmn.xml" file to include the -server option, the OC4J application fails to start.

The following error is shown in the $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/logs/OC4J~<app_name>~default_island~1 log:

[ Unrecognized option: -server ]
[ JVMCI123: Unable to parse 1.2 format supplied options - rc=-6 ]
Could not create JVM.

 The -server option may have been added to OC4J_SECURITY startup options following configuration of 10gAS Single Sign-On for Windows Native Authentication using 'ssoca wna'.
