When using the ORACLE JDBC thin driver to access a database server instance, it fails with the following Exception:

java.sql.SQLException: Io exception: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection

This happens when looping on the following sequence :

After executing N times (randomly) this sequence of code fails at connection time.
