Symptoms

Having set an https-to-http Web Cache in front of the SSO Server (so that the HTTP Server uses SimulateHttps On), logon to SSO is not possible and results in error:

Forbidden - You Don't Have Permission to Access /sso/auth on this Server

and error_log shows:

[Tue Feb 21 23:06:50 2006] [error] access to /oracle/IASP1/product/ias10g2i/Apache/Apache/htdocs/pls failed for 192.168.100.6, reason: SSL connection required

Changes

The HTTP Server is started in SSL mode
(in opmn.xml:

      <data id="start-mode" value="ssl-enabled" />

)
