Symptoms
In any circumstance, deploying, undeploying, redeploying or even running an application within an OC4J instance can return following error:
After this error the OC4J instance can no longer be used and a restart is necessary for users to continue using the application. As a result, redeployment results in downtime and must be scheduled out of hours.
