Event Maps not saved after definition in iStudio

Symptoms
An event map is needed to distinguish two events with the same data structure.
The event map wizard is used to define the event map.
After reopen the event with edit and re-open the event map wizard the dialog is empty - no event map definition is displayed.
The following exception is displayed in iStudio.log
