Unable To Apply Patch on AIX with OPatch : Couldn't Copy Files (Doc ID 373247.1)

Symptoms

Using the command "opatch apply" fails with an error similar to the following:
(It could be any files associated with any patch which needs to copy files from one location to another)

Issue verified by the error stack returned which shows:


ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/libexec/libproxy.so
[ Couldn't copy
ORACLE_HOME/patches/123456/123456/files/Apache/Apache/libexec/libproxy.so into place. ]
ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/libexec/mod_log_config.so
[ Couldn't copy
ORACLE_HOME/patches/123456/123456/files/Apache/Apache/libexec/mod_log_config.so into place. ]
