SSO Login For Users Synchronized To OID From Database Fails: Invalid Credentials (Doc ID 374299.1)

Symptoms

Unable to login to SSO with users synchronized to OID from an external database using a DIP DB synchronization profile.

Error: Invalid Credentials.

An external authentication plugin is configured in OID to compare the password entered with the password value in the source database. ldapcompare for a synchronized user is successful.

Also unable to view synchronized users with DAS User Search.

ldapsearch output for a synchronized user shows that the UID attribute is not populated in OID.
