Applies to:Oracle(R) BPEL Process Manager - Version: 10.1.2.0.2
This problem can occur on any platform.
When attempting to change process state and process lifecycle for high available bpel processes, the following error occurs.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps.
There are two middle tiers that host BPEL PM Server behind a load balancer. The BPEL Process has been deployed on both middle tier. When trying to set the "Process Lifecycle" to "Retired" and "Process State" to "Off" using BPEL Console. This change is not reflected in the other BPEL node which still shows the process as "active" and "on".
1. Deploy the helloworld process in both BPEL node
2. Access the console from one node, go to BPEL Process tab, and click Helloworld process
3. Set the "Process Lifecycle" to "Retired" and "Process State" to "Off"
4. Click Apply
5. Open another console from the other node, go to BPEL Process tab, then you can see the process
is still active and on On state.
