A custom SSO logoff JSP page has been configured for SSO but it is not displayed with the correct character encoding in the browser.

The custom JSP code contains the following to force the required encoding in the browser to e.g. Central European (Windows).

< META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=windows-1250" >

However after SSO logout the custom page is displayed with e.g. Western European (ISO) encoding.

This means that language-specific characters are displayed with incorrect accents/marks over specific letters, spending on the encoding.
