English Text with Numbers in Arabic Environment is not Displayed Properly (Doc ID 378253.1)

Symptoms

Generating PDF output using PDF subsetting in a RTL (right to left) report, for example in Arabic or Hebrew. If a LTR (left to right) field exists containing for example English characters and digits, the order of the characters in the English text field which is retrieved from the database is not displayed properly. In RTL report if you have LTR data, numerals or special characters are randomly flipped, for example:

- "Number of 1272"  becomes "1272 Number of"
- "< USERNAME > :" becomes ": < USERNAME >".
- Date formats are also reversed "12-NOV-2003" becomes "2003-12-NOV".
