Single Sign-on (SSO) Does Not Failover If Any MetaData Rep RAC Database Instance Goes Down (Doc ID 389740.1)

Symptoms

HA Topology

1.  Database iasdb1 is on machine1
2.  Database iasdb2 is on machine2
3.  OID instance oid1 on machine 3
4.  OID instance oid2 on machine 4
5.  SSO sso1 on machine5
6.  SSO sso2 on machine6
7.  OID and SSO are using BigIP Load Balancer.

When any of the database instance iasdb1 or iasdb2 instance is shutdown, the application hangs e.g. /oiddas or /pls/orasso .. It does not function unless OC4J_SECURITY is bounced.

Changes

The database is RAC database.
