Configurating a Resource Provider to be Available to all Applications in OC4J (Doc ID 395402.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 13, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Containers for J2EE - Version 10.1.2.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

A resource provider needs to be shared by multiple applications within a single OC4J instance.

By adding the <resource-provider entry in orion-application.xml and the <library> entry in the
same file, a specific application is able to load the resource-provider and access it.

However the requirement is to make it available to all the applications within the container, including the named "default" application.
