Configuring Attributes Gives "The Server did not return success code" (Doc ID 399215.1)

Symptoms

When configuring an attribute e.g. division attribute with symantec type as none and display type as single text, you get  the following error message "The Server did not return success code"

1.    Go the /identity/oblix
2.    Select coreId console
3.    Select common configuration
4.    Select configure object class
5.    Select user object
6.    Select modify attributes
7.    Select divistion attribute , symantic type : none, display type : single line text
8.    The Error is displayed
