This document provides details of tuning parameters applicable to tuning BPEL 10.1.2.0.2 running with the IBM Java Development Kit (JDK) version 1.4.2 SR5 on IBM P Series (formerly RS/6000) under AIX 5.3. The document is not intended to be an exhaustive guide, it provides a sample configuration which was used for a high throughput environment which may be used as a starting point for performance tuning the IBM JDK.
This document is intended to be an initial guide to tuning the IBM 1.4.2 JVM. It is not an exhaustive reference and it should be read in conjunction with the IBM Diagnostics Guide for Java 1.4.2 (http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/diagnosis/index.html click on the 1.4.2 tab).
