Obformlogin Cookie Is Not Getting Set (Doc ID 404716.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

When clicking a link to a protected resource from within word or excel the obFormLogin cookie is not getting set in the resulting browser session and thus access to the protected resource is prohibited.

-- Steps To Reproduce:
1) Create a policy for /private and protect that with form based login.

2) Create html page(test.html) and paste that under /private directory.

3) Now in browser, access /private/test.html. You should get the login page
first, after successful authentication you should be able to access the html.

4) Open a new word document, type the URL http:*****/private/test.html. Click
on the hyperlink. The login page should get displayed. After entering the
credentials if you submit the page, you should get a 404.
