File Adapter Fails With Classcastexception (Doc ID 405172.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

When a process with activity to invoke file adapter Partner link is run it throws the following error:

Changes

When creating a new partner link as a file adapter and using default options it results in the following parameters:

Partner link type = Read_plt
My_role = Read_role
Partner_role = Not specified.

If you then drop invoke activity and try to point to the above partner link - no operation comes up. To resolve this operation issue you - you change the roles to the following:

Partner link type = Read_plt
My_role = Read_role
Partner_role = Read_role 

However, when the project is deployed the error described in this note occurs.
