Oracle HTTP Server does not Serve PDF Documents Correctly

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Using IE browser, when accessing a large PDF file served by Oracle HTTP Server, the following symptoms are seen:
1. The download hangs after the first page and the other pages are rendered as unreadable thumbnails.
2. AcroRD32 process takes up CPU usage to 100%.
