Symptoms
The HTTP Server can not be started up in a 10.1.2/10.1.3 Application Server on Solaris . The following message is shown:
- Another ORACLE_HOME in the same box works fine, i.e. the HTTP Server starts and stops fine
- The mod_osso configuration assistant fails as a side effect, i.e. the first symptom found was some config assistants failed at installation time,
Changes
Logical disk volumes are setup, although the ORACLE_HOME was installed on a local disk not using logical disk volumes.
