This problem can occur on any platform.
Both the identity server and access server may hang or crash due to too many TCP connections left in a CLOSE_WAIT status.
If either server appears to be hung or crashed and the netstat command shows many connections left in a CLOSE_WAIT status then you have run into this bug.
