Purpose

This is a small FAQ concerning the use of DataDirect JDBC drivers in an Oracle Application Server environment.

DataDirect JDBC drivers enable JDBC connections from the Oracle Application Server to non-Oracle databases such as DB2, INFORMIX, SQL SERVER and SYBASE

JDBC Connections to the Oracle Database are only supported through the Oracle JDBC driver
