Purpose

This is a description of the interaction between Forms and Oracle AS Single Sign-On (SSO) and Oracle Internet Directory (OID) during an initial login to a Forms midtier configured to be SSO protected. This description is intended to make it easier to debug any possible problems during this phase and to highlight possible tracing and debug options.

Scope

This covers Forms version 10.1.2 and Oracle AS versions 9.0.4 though 10.1.4.
Initially this is intended for Oracle Support engineers.
