Webgate & Webpass Try the Same Request an Unlimited Number of Times Eventually Overburdening the Access/Identity Server with Redundant Requests (Doc ID 420002.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

If the webgate to access server timeout threshold is set, and the server is taking more time than that to service a request, webgate will keep on retrying the request indefinitely by closing the existing connection and opening a new connection to retry the same request. This leads to the AAA server busy servicing these requests.

Similar behavior can be seen between webpass and the identity server.
